A Wednesday afternoon fire in Leesburg destroyed a woman’s mobile home.
Leesburg Fire Department and Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory responded to a report of a mobile home fire at 3699 N. CR 175E, Lot 4, in Suburban Acres at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday.
The owner’s name was not available, but no one was injured, including the woman’s cats, Leesburg Fire Chief Jared Haughee said.
The crews had the fire knocked down within 10 minutes after arrival and cleared the scene in two hours.
The mobile home was a total loss, Haughee said.
