Fort Wayne Beagle Club donates $20,000 to AWL

WARSAW — Fort Wayne Beagle Club recently awarded the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County with $20,000.

President Mike Clabaugh visited AWL to make the donation.

The Fort Wayne Beagle Club, located in Huntington Indiana, is a private nonprofit foundation that has awarded grant checks to nonprofit animal shelters in several Northeast
Indiana counties.

The donation will be used to help with canine vaccines, spay/neuter, microchipping, food, and other medical care.

“I can’t thank you enough! We have been truly blessed by your kindness and
generosity, and I am ,deeply grateful” said AWL Executive Director Tonya Blanchard.

“Together, we have the power to create a brighter future for homeless pets by giving them the love, care, and second chances they deserve. Thank you for this wonderful gift,” she added.

AWL Board president John Lantz added, “We have absolute gratitude to the FW Beagle Club for helping with healthcare costs for our shelter puppies and dogs … We
thank you for believing in what we do at the Animal Welfare League and sharing
our passion that we all have for helping homeless pets in Kosciusko County.”
