A Fort Wayne man has been arrested for child exploitation after allegedly printing pictures at Walmart of naked children.
Brendan D. Chivington, 26, Fort Wayne, was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday for child exploitation, a level 5 felony, and possession of child pornography, a level 6 felony.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Tuesday in Kosciusko Superior Court I, an employee of Walmart contacted Warsaw Police and said a man had printed off 110 pictures that included child pornography.
The employee “advised on Sept. 4 employees were reviewing the photography system and observed on Aug. 28 child pornography had been printed off. Walmart provided the surveillance video of the subject using a thumb drive to print off the photographs,” court papers state.
The photos allegedly included four images of nude girls appearing to be between 10 and 13 years of age, with two pictures showing three girls at the beach showing their bare chests. Some of the photos are of boys wearing Speedos, with some in provocative positions, according the court papers.
Warsaw Police posted an image from surveillance footage to crimenet.com and Whitley County probation department advised they thought the subject was Chivington. Upon obtaining photos of Chivington through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and Facebook, and comparing them to the man in the footage, police positively identified Chivington as the suspect that had printed the child pornography.
Chivington’s being held on $11,000 bond.
