A Fort Wayne man accused of fatally shooting and killing two young men and wounding a third has been formally charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Thirty-two-year-old Joseph Bossard also was charged Tuesday with aggravated battery, criminal recklessness committed with a deadly weapon and using a firearm during a crime. Joshua Cooper and Anderson Retic, both 19, were shot while sitting in their car at a gas station on Feb. 17.
A third person, 20-year-old Jaylin Rice, remains hospitalized is in serious condition. A probable cause affidavit says Bossard engaged in a “verbal confrontation” with the three victims at a convenience store.
