Almost 250 NIPSCO customers south of Warsaw were without power for an hour after a vehicle struck a utility pole Friday evening. 59 year old Kirby J. Lemond of Claypool was driving on S.R. 15 near West CR 550S around 7 p.m. Friday when his vehicle slipped on a patch of ice, left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
