Attorney General Greg Zoeller took just five days to ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that could make same-sex marriage legal in Indiana. Zoeller filed an appeal of last week' s ruling from the 7th Circuit Court. That ruling upheld the June 25th order from Judge Richard Young which said Indiana's ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional. Zoeller had 90 days to file an appeal. He says Tuesday was the deadline to file, so that Indiana's case could be considered during the Supreme Court’s first conference September 29.
