Veterans Day is a time to honor those who have fought for our country. That’s why many businesses in Northern Indiana are offering free or discounted meals and services for veterans this weekend.
Though getting things for free isn’t why Hoosier veterans chose to serve, it is one way that communities can show appreciation.

Applebee’s Grill and Bar- Free meal for veterans
Bar Louie- Free flatbread or burger
Ben’s Soft Pretzel- Free jumbo soft pretzel
Bob Evans- Veterans and active duty members can pick one of six free meals
Bonefish Grill- Free order of bang bang shrimp appetizer for veterans
Buffalo Wild Wings- Free order of wings and fries for veterans and active duty members
Carrabba’s Italian Grill- Free appetizer for veterans
Cici’s Pizza- Free pizza buffet with a military ID
Chili’s- Free meal for veterans
Chuck. E. Cheese’s- One free personal cheese pizza with any food purchase on Veterans Day with a military ID.
Cracker Barrel- Free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert for Veterans
Denny’s- Free build-your-own Grand Slam Breakfast for veterans on Friday, Nov. 10th from 5:00 a.m. to Noon
Dollar General- 11 percent discount on qualifying purchases both in-store and online.
Dunkin’ Donuts- Free doughnut.
Fazoli’s- free spaghetti with marina or meat sauce to all veterans and military personnel, plus 10% off any purchase with a military ID or in uniform.
Golden Corral- Military Appreciation Night, Monday, Nov. 13th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Veterans receive a free buffet
Hacienda- Free large wet burrito
IHOP- Free red, white and blue pancakes for veterans on Friday, Nov. 10th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts- Free doughnut and small coffee for veterans
Little Caesar’s- Free $5 Hot ‘n Ready lunch combo for veterans on Nov. 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Logan’s Roadhouse- Veterans and active duty members can pick from eight free meals on Nov. 11th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Longhorn Steakhouse- Free appetizer or dessert for veterans.
Martin’s Supermarkets- Free meal for veterans and active duty on Nov. 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
McDonalds- Free extra value meal for all former and active duty members from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Nov. 11th.
Olive Garden- Free meal, soup, salad and breadsticks for veterans
Outback Steakhouse- Free bloomin’ onion and beverage for veterans. All current and former veterans with a military ID get 15% discount from Nov. 12th-Dec. 31st
Red Lobster- Free appetizer or dessert for veterans.
Red Robin- Free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and fries with proof of military service
Starbucks- Free 12 oz. coffee for veterans and their spose
Texas Roadhouse- Free lunch for veterans from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. Hours may differ based on location
TGI Fridays- Free lunch for veterans from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m.
Wings Etc- Free entree up to $10 for veterans with proof of service

Drive and Shine- Free Diamond car wash on November 11th at all Drive & Shine locations in South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart and Schererville
Hair Crafters- 602 Lincoln Way East- FREE haircuts to all US military veterans, including a consultation, shampoo, cut and style. Men and women welcome. Veterans can walk-in from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Great Clips – Veterans and current military members can receive either a free haircut that day or free haircut card to use at a later date.

Toy’s R Us- 15% off to military members with a valid ID
Tractor Supply – 15% off for all active duty and former military members on November 11th
