If you or someone you know had surgery at Goshen Hospital recently, they may have a new set of problems.
The Goshen News quotes the hospital’s president and CEO as saying that, between April 1 and September 30, a surgical instrument sterilization technician failed to complete one of the necessary steps to properly sterilize the equipment used in procedures.
The statement from the hospital says other measures were taken to sterilize that equipment, but that it may not have been completely sterile.
