A 20-year-old Goshen man faces child molesting charges after police say he admitted to molesting two boys. A teen reported to Elkhart County Sheriff’s detectives about a year ago that he was molested by a relative, Jesse Phipps, on several occasions starting when he was just 8 years old. According to court documents, the victim said there were so many incidents that he wasn’t sure when they all occurred. When police interviewed Phipps, he confessed. The Elkhart Truth reports the suspect then named another boy that he allegedly victimized. If convicted on all charges, Phipps could face a sentence of as many as 60 years in prison. His next court appearance is scheduled for May.
