Not long after 35 dogs were removed from a home in Michigan City, Goshen is dealing with a neighborhood where two homes might have as many as 50 cats.
Neighbors are tired of cats roaming the street, but also of the strong odor that dominates the 400 block of Gray-roy Drive.
WSBT reports that the cats are being fed and housed in the two homes, and neighbors complain that providing food for the cats only attracts more of them…with many feral cats are staying in the neighborhood.
An unnamed agency recently removed 17 cats from the homes.
Neighbors say the people living in those houses are trying to be kind to the animals but have now reached a point where they can’t keep up with the demand.
