A Goshen woman was transported this morning with neck and back injuries after her car was hit by a semi.
According to Kip Shuter, Warsaw Police Department public information officer, at 7:45 a.m. today a car driven by Brooke Edwards, 44, Goshen, and a semi driven by Homer Noel, 42, Cedartown, Ga., were eastbound on U.S. 30 near Meijer. The car changed lanes in the left lane in front of the semi while the light was changing and the semi was unable to stop. The semi hit the back end of the car.
Edwards complained of back and neck injuries and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital. Noel was not injured.
The damage estimate was unknown as of press time this morning.
Warsaw police and fire departments, Lutheran EMS and Indiana State Police responded.
