Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb is in Paris for the second leg of a European trade mission.
Holcomb plans on touting Indiana’s motor sports heritage at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and plug the state’s more recent efforts in aerospace at the annual International Paris Air Show.
Along with the usual boasts about Indiana’s business climate, Holcomb says he’ll also try to entice aviation business by talking up a workforce pipeline of engineers coming out of Purdue and Notre Dame.
Holcomb left for France after three days in Hungary, where he signed a memorandum of understanding with the country to look for areas of business cooperation. Indiana is the first state to sign such a deal with Hungary.
