Grace College is celebrating a special award given to its athletic department. The National Christian College Athletic Association recognized Grace with its Sports Ministries Award at the national convention in Louisville last week. Grace was honored for the number of sports teams and athletes who participated in outreach programs, both in the US and abroad. The Men’s basketball team went to inner-city Detroit, the women’s team spent time in Philadelphia, women’s soccer went to Nicaragua, Women’s tennis went to the Dominican, the volleyball team visited Israel, and Grace became the new host site for the Warsaw Moblepack for Feed My Starving Children.
