State education leaders say graduation rates were up in Indiana in 2020.
Indiana Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner says the rate from last spring was up 4-tenths of a percent from 2019.
Tippecanoe Valley was the only corporation in the area to see their rate go up—it was over 95-percent, which was up 8-percent from 2019.
Warsaw’s graduation rate was 91.94-percent—down from 95-percent the year before.
Wawasee’s rate was just over a point lower than 2019, Triton’s was down 5-percent with a 2020 class of 83 students compared to 2019’s class of 51.
Whitko was down 1.3-percent, Wa-Nee was down about half a point and Manchester was down 1-percent.
Lakeland Christian Academy had 13 of 16 students graduate compared to 22 of 26 the year before.
