A veterinarian from Granger accused of widespread animal abuse is facing a hearing this week.
Members of Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill’s office will be in attendance when Jennifer Perusek has a hearing regarding her vet license in Indianapolis on Wednesday.
The Indiana Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners could revoke or suspend her license if it finds any wrong doing. It can also fine her up to $1,000 for each violation and put her on probation.
Perusek is facing multiple allegations of kicking, dragging, and choking animals in her care from 2011 to 2016. No criminal charges have been filed as the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office is reviewing documents in her case.
