UPDATE: Police report they have found the body of Dawn Marie Smith. She was found dead near a home in Cass County on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Officers first found her vehicle, disabled and abandoned, along U.S. 12 in Milton Township. Investigators believe she may have been looking for help and possibly died of exposure.
ORIGINAL STORY: Police in St. Joseph County are searching for a missing Granger woman.
Dawn Marie Smith, 55, is reported to be driving a silver 2004 Honda Odyssey with Michigan plate CJB5417.
She was last heard from on Monday evening, Nov. 12, and was believed to have been driving toward Watervliet.
Authorities have reason to believe she may be in danger.
