The inaugural Hall of Heroes Comic Con is coming to The Lerner Theater in Elkhart in March.
It’s a celebration of art, history and pop culture, and the largest event of its kind in Elkhart history, and it will take place March 11 and 12. Whether you’re into comic books, Sci Fi movies, cartoons or other forms of pop culture, there will be something you’ll enjoy.
Allen Stewart from the Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum, who organized the event, has arranged for guests like cast members from Mystery Science Theater 3000.
“The cool thing is is the timing,” Stewart exclaimed. “Our Con is right when (Mystery Science Theater 3000) getting ready to relaunch their show, and we’re one of the few national appearances that they’re doing.”
Former TV Superman Dean Cain will also fly into Elkhart for the event. And, of course, there will be plenty of comics and collectibles that you can take home.
“We’re going to have probably 40 to 50 dealers coming in selling anything from Star Wars, Star Trek, video games, toys, comic books, even original art,” Stewart said. “We’re talking about high end stuff.”
There will also be panels, vendors, cosplay for those who like to dress up, and even a motorcycle from Nicholas Cage’s Ghost Rider movie.
