Help local food pantries stock up on groceries at November’s First Friday.
The theme for the Nov. 5 event is “Carnival of Giving.”
The smallest county fair in Indiana will be in the KeyBank lobby, according to information provided.
There will be fun and games all over downtown Warsaw. Trade canned and dry items used to stock local food pantries for tickets to play, including St. Anne’s Thanksgiving baskets. One item equals one game.
Items needed include personal items, cleaning supplies, canned/dry food, deodorant, shampoo, soap, wash cloths, towels, canned vegetables, canned meat, macaroni & cheese, noodles, dry food, dish detergent, laundry soap, floor cleaner, windex, toilet paper, wet wipes, socks, hats, gloves and scarves.
Items will benefit St. Anne’s, Salvation Army, Combined Community Services, Fellowship Missions, First United Methodist Church Closet and other needy community resources. Cash donations are welcome to help fund St. Anne’s holiday gift baskets.
The Warsaw Middle School bands play at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 5.
A week before First Friday is the 2021 Downtown Warsaw Spooktacular on Oct. 29.
Costume contest registration is 5:30 to 6 p.m., trick-or-treat is 6 to 7 p.m. and the costume contest is 7 to 8 p.m.
