Hit And Run Suspect Turned Himself In

The man responsible for a fatal hit and run in Wabash has been arrested after turning himself in. 

According to the Wabash Police Department, Timothy J. Shoemake, 33 of Marion, is being held in the Wabash County Jail for the hit and run in Wabash that killed Michael D. Leazenby, 38 of Wabash on June 27, 2015. 

Shoemake voluntarily turned himself in shortly after police decided to change their focus vehicle from a mini van to a Ford F-150. 

The case was investigated by Detective Captain Jim Kirk, Detective John Krhin, Wabash Police Department second shift patrol, and Marion Police Department.
