Pharmacy armed robberies are on the rise. In fact, the Hoosier state has led the nation in pharmacy robberies for the past 3 years, which in turn, has also led to an increase in prescription drug abuse in Indiana. On top of that, Indianapolis Police Department Sgt. Dean Fischer says people will do just about anything, to get their hands on the medications.
