University officials say enrollment at I-U campuses, statewide, remains strong, despite changing demographics that have led to declining student populations at many universities, especially in the Midwest. The university is boating a record number of students at IUPUI, IU East and IU Kokomo this fall. As far as IUSB goes, more than 7800 students are enrolled, though it's a more than 2-and-a-half percent drop. Credit hours are also down a bit. IUSB is attracting more minorities however, with a nearly 10 percent increase in Hispanic enrollment. African-American enrollment is also up…more than 6-and-a-half percent. International enrollment is also up, more than 25 percent.
