“If you were here at the end of the 2016 season, and you haven’t been back to South Bend or on campus since then, I think it will be overwhelming in a good positive way,” he explains.
“All the concourses have been done; every restroom in the facility has been redesigned. All the concession stands have been redone; there are over 150 TV monitors in the concourses alone so that people can be engaged.”
The Crossroads Project also benefits tailgaters– more space will be available for grilling.
“All the paved lots adjacent to the stadium the stadium lot, Joyce lot, library lot are season passes just like they’ve always have been,” Seamon tells WNDU. “We’re opening the Burke Golf Course [and] our White Field is going to be open as well.”
Despite the many improvements at the stadium, on your way there you may experience traffic jams and possible reroutes.
WNDU reports Notre Dame Police, South Bend Police, St. Joseph County Police and Indiana State Police will all play a role in controlling traffic on game day. Drivers are asked to prepare for road blocks 4 hours before kickoff in order to adequately prepare for people who’ll be attending the game
