Indiana Department of Transportation announced the closure of Ind. 14 near Silver Lake.
Crews are scheduled to begin bridge construction between South County Farm Road and South CR 100E on or after May 16, with work expected to last for approximately one month. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
During the closure, drivers should use the approved detour of Ind. 13, Ind. 114, and Ind. 15 or seek an alternate route.
INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety and slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free when traveling in and around all work zones.
