The state of Indiana wants it’s students to stay safe online.
The Indiana Department of Education launched the first ever Indiana Digital Citizenship Week. The week was launched to focus on the ongoing effort to teach students how to make safe, responsible and ethical decisions in the digital world, according to the Indiana Department of Education.
“Technology is infused in our classrooms and in our lives,” said Glenda Ritz, Indiana’s Superintendent of Public Instruction. “Students today must be prepared to responsibly use technology for learning, communicating, creating and collaborating both in and outside the school building.”
The Indiana Department of Education has developed a toolkit, which includes resources and lesson plans, to help educators.
