It's a great time to live in the Hoosier state. The housing market in northeast Indiana is among the strongest in the nation. According to the Journal Gazette, home sales rose 13 percent in October compared to last year. New data from the Upstate Alliance of Realtors shows the average home sale price is at almost $137,000- a steady 7% increase from 2013. Low numbers were mainly due to a harsh winter and this year, it's predicted that a heavy housing supply will prevent sales from slowing down.
