INDIANAPOLIS – A new survey shows manufacturing growth rates in Indiana are diminishing.
However, manufacturers remain confident about the future, accroding to Steve Jones, chair of the Indiana University Kelly School of Business and co-author of the 2016 Indiana Manufacturing Survey.
Jones says the gains of the last few years have slowed down, but growth is still happening, just at a much slower rate than Indiana saw coming out of the recession.
The survey shows that companies are mainly struggling to find workers with at least some experience in manufacturing
