Indianapolis has been chosen to host the biggest event in college football.
The College Football Playoff National Championship will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2022. A formal announcement by Indiana Sports Corporation and Indianapolis officials says the event could bring as much as $150 million into the city.
Four days of activities at the Indiana Convention Center will celebrate the Championship.
This is just one of the major sporting events coming to Indianapolis. They’re also hosting the 2021 Men’s Final Four, the 2021 Big Ten Football Championship, and the 2022 Men’s Big Ten Basketball Tournament.
