INDOT is asking for your help in raising $10,000 for financial assistance to the families construction workers who are killed or disabled in the line of duty. The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, Triple A and and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce named the South Split project underway in Indianapolis as one of the nation’s top 10 transportation projects in a national awards competition. The 10 finalists are eligible for a $10,000 donation to a charity or scholarship fund of the winning state’s choosing. If INDOT wins, the money would go to the families of the fallen of injured.
