The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department still needs your help finding the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run crash. It was the evening of Friday, October 10th, when 30 year-old Joshua Phillips of Goshen was seriosly injured after being struck by a pickup truck while walking in the area of County Road 18 east of County Road 23. Evidence collected from the scene suggests that the truck in question should have front passenger side damage, which includes a broken headlight cover. The vehicle is believed to be a red, 1995-2001 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Phillips was flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital for serious head injuries. He is continuing to receive treatment for his injuries.
