An autopsy has been performed on the human skeletal remains found in Auburn Saturday afternoon. However, due to the level of decomposition, the autopsy did not yield any additional clues to help the Indiana State Police Department with their investigation.

The remains are now going to be sent to a forensic anthropologist in Indianapolis next week for further examination.
The remains were located between 1:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, by someone who was walking in a wooded area west of C&A Tool Engineering in Auburn.
The investigation is ongoing.
