Jim Zachary has filed to run in the Republican primary for Winona Lake Town Council Ward 1.
The 36-year-old previously tried for the seat back in 2017 after Peter Christos resigned. Instead, a caucus chose Theila Banta.
She has filed for re-election but will now face a challenge from Zachary.
He’s a Warsaw grad who has worked at Zimmer Biomet for 15 years.
