Five juveniles were allegedly involved in an incident in Syracuse in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Syracuse Police found a boy at a Haiden Drive apartment who said he’d been hit in the head with a baseball bat as part of a robbery. He reported that four other juveniles were the perpetrators.
Police say the victim told them he fired a shot from a handgun at the intruders. The shot hit a neighbor’s vehicle and apartment, and grazed the leg of one of the suspects.
Three juveniles were taken to the South Bend Juvenile Justice Center in connection to the incident. Another suspect is wanted for questioning.
Large amounts of marijuana, paraphernalia, and two handguns were found at the victim’s residence.
