Karen Smith, 67, of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne Indiana. Born on July 20, 1954, in Warsaw, Indiana, Karen was the daughter of Wilber and Anna Mae Smith.
She enjoyed being a truck driver as her travels took her across country. Karen was a member of the American Legion Post #49 Auxiliary, Warsaw and the Moose Lodge, North Manchester.
Karen is survived by her sons, John (Laura) Smith of Bicknell, IN, Sanford “Sam” Smith of Ohio, Tim Smith of California; brother Nick (Vicki) Smith of Pierceton, sister, Theresa Grosswiller; and her five grandchildren, Matt Gough, Lilly Gough, Natosha Smith, Michael Smith and Aubrey Smith. She was preceded in passing by her parents.
No services are currently being planned. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw have been entrusted with Karen’s arrangements.
