Kay Leslie, 73, formerly of Warsaw, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Canterbury Health & Rehab, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on November 26, 1946, in Huntington Co., Indiana, Kay was the daughter of Lloyd and Agnes (Gaff) Stanley.
She was a graduate of South Whitley High School. She formerly worked as a manager for Hideaway Hill Mobile Home Park . Kay was known to be an excellent seamstress, making patchwork blankets for all the children and she was an avid reader.
Kay will be lovingly remembered by her children: Angela (George) Smith of Warsaw, Renee (Scott) Workman of Winona Lake, Stephanie (Jonathan) Berkowitz of Fishers, and Troy (Tammy) Eber of Columbia City; brothers: Wayne (companion Lillie) Stanley of Winston Salem, NC, Glen Stanley of Indianapolis; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; niece, Kathryn Tuck, nephew, Charles Stanley; and her great nieces and nephew.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A memorial service in celebration of her life will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Pastor Don Plank officiating the services. Interment is Private.
