A 9-year-old scared off an attempted robber with a pellet gun.
WNDU reports someone tried to steal a truck, but they didn’t know Larry Larimore was inside.
“As soon as he opened the door, I got scared, so I pulled out the pellet gun and pointed it to his head,” the boy said.
The robber left the truck, but stole a nearby Chevrolet Trailblazer that had the engine running.
Larry and his dad took the truck’s owner along as they pursued the robber down Washington Street.
“It was doing donuts, zig zags, almost flipped,” Larry says.
The suspect crashed the truck after a few miles and police were called the the scene.
The 9-year-old boy says his grandma would have done the same thing if in his situation.
