After a freezer broke down at Combined Community Services in November, the well-known non-profit lost over 400 pounds of meat.
Recently, CCS received a new walk-in freezer and two organizations came with a helping hand in filling up that freezer.
Kosciusko County Farm Bureau, partnering with Maple Leaf Farms in Leesburg, made a matching donation of 975 pounds of chicken and duck products. The donation was made back on Wednesday, December 2nd.
