A beautiful day on Saturday brought out local vendors for the first Kosciusko County Farmers and Artisans Market, although without the artisans.
About fifteen vendors filled the block of West Center Street in front of the Kosciusko County Courthouse with various food and produce items. Several vendors, who brought baked goods, sold out of their products before noon.
Vendors were limited to those with “essential goods” as per Governor Eric Holcomb’s essential business restrictions. Farmers Market officials have not immediately released details about how future markets will go with the stay-at-home order lifted.
