A fundraising campaign is underway to create a plaza at the Kosciusko County Courthouse.
County officials are seeking an Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority grant that will match $30,000 if that amount is raised by the community.
The Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce says the plaza would be on the southeast corner of the courthouse lawn and would feature stamped concrete or pavers, bright landscaping, 5 to 7 picnic tables, and a wall that provides additional seating.
The project echoes the success of the City of Warsaw’s crowdfunding campaign with matching IHCDA funds used for the activated alley next to City Hall Plaza.
