The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department teamed up with New Life Christian Church this week to spread goodwill.
Sheriff Rocky Goshert and Pastor John Lowe personally distributed gift cards to people in need, or upstanding citizens in Kosciusko County.
Their goal was to brighten the day of people in our community by reaching out to them while they were walking down the street or at local businesses.
Four teams from the two organizations handed out gift cards for 50 different area families.
“This time of year some people just need a little help to make it through the season, and others just need to know that people really care about them,” Sheriff Goshert explains.
The gift cards were donated by New Life Christian Church’s congregation to be used for this act of caring to our community.
