Treasures for Troops and the First Freewill Baptist Church of Kosciusko County will conduct the seventh annual Stockings for Soldiers Drive beginning Friday.
The community has an opportunity to send some holiday cheer to a deployed service member. To participate and fill a Christmas stocking to be sent overseas, pick up instructions at the following area businesses: Vein Institute and Medical Spa, Warsaw Community Public Library, Outdoor Living Center or Lake City Bank in Silver Lake.
Instructions and the list of items needed to fill stockings can be found on the Treasures for Troops Facebook page at www.facebook.com/treasuresfortroops. It is asked that everyone who participates follow the instructions provided when filling a stocking.
All stockings must be received by Dec. 1. Filled stockings can be dropped off at any of the area businesses listed above during regular business hours.
