Indiana’s unemployment rate fell, according to the latest stats from the Department of Workforce Development to 4-point-4 percent in October, but, locally, the jobless rate inched up. In Kosciusko County, the rate went from 3-point-6 percent in September to to 3-point-7 percent in October. Still, that’s way below last year’s rate of 4-point-7 percent at this time. Statewide, Indiana’s unemployment rate is at its lowest levels since before the recession began in 2008.
