Kosciusko Meth Arrest Made With Help Of Informant

Warsaw police worked with a confidential informant to arrest Arminta Hackworth for aiding in a felony and dealing meth.
According to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office, Hackworth, 37, of 3309 18B Road, Tippecanoe, was one of four people involved in the incident.
The report states that police provided the informant with recording equipment and $400 for the purchase of meth on July 15. The informant met Hackworth and Michael Greenfield at Marsh Supermarket and then travelled to Leesburg. While driving to Leesburg, police could hear Hackworth contact the dealer.
At Leesburg Freedom Express, police observed Greenfield exit the vehicle with the $400 and get into a black Monte Carlo with two other people in it. He then got back into the informant’s car presumably with the meth. The informant then took Hackworth and Greenfield back to the Marsh parking lot.
The officer field tested the substance as 2.4 grams of meth.
Hackworth was arrested Thursday afternoon with a $15,250 bond. The investigation is ongoing.
