A deputy in the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s office has been given a promotion.
Sergeant Chris Francis says the Sheriff’s Office merit board conducted interviews and went through a selection process regarding an open patrol sergeant position. The board selected Deputy Kreg Kuhn to the position. Kuhn is a Kosciusko County native and started with the Sheriff’s office as an intern in 2008, became a corrections officer in 2009 and then became a patrol deputy in 2011.
Sergeant Kuhn previously served as a SWAT operator and is the field training program coordinator.
