A filmmaker from Los Angeles is looking for up to 50 extras for their film Long Gone By. Local production company One Voice Media is teaming up with Andrew Morgan for the project.
The first casting priority is for Wednesday, when extras can be men or women ranging in age from 14 to 21. Anyone under the age of 18 will need to bring a signed release from their legal guardian, which can be found here. Those who want to play a student can wear a school outfit, including a backpack, but avoid wearing bright colors or logos/text on their shirts. Extras comfortable playing basketball are also needed. Adult extras will be needed for filming Thursday through Tuesday.
Those who want to participate should contact producer Emily Morgan at emily@untold.la. The movie will also be accepting walk-ins if spots are still available.
If walk-in spots are available, they will be selected from those who are at the Gateway Education Center at 201 N Union Street in Warsaw. Extras should arrive by parking in the rear parking lot off of Miami Street and come through the Adult Education entrance at Door 7. They’ll be to be available for all of the scenes for the shooting schedule:
- Wednesday July 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for up to 50 extras playing students, 12:30-2:30 p.m. for up to 12 male basketball players
- Thursday July 5 from 2:30-6 p.m. for 2 adult extras
- Friday July 6 from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. for 3 adult or high school age extras
- Sunday July 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 3:30-6 p.m. for 16 adult extras
- Monday July 9 from 12-10 p.m. for 5 adults
- Tuesday July 10 from 8:30-11 p.m. for 4 adult or high school age extras
- Wednesday July 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for 3 adult and 8 high school age extras
Filming with professional actors will be taking place at Horizon Bank. This will include a change in signs for the bank. Horizon has agreed to the adjustments for the sake of filming this summer.
Filming at their Leesburg branch has already been completed, and they are next heading to Mentone. Customers who see an interesting new bank logo should know it just means “lights, camera, action” as crews continue to work on location in Kosciusko County.
