Indiana law enforcement agencies are participating in a national crackdown on drunken driving through Labor Day. As part of the annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” campaign, State troopers will work overtime from now through Sept. 7th to conduct sobriety patrols and checkpoints, teaming up with more than 250 law-enforcement agencies throughout the state. Indiana had 94 fatal alcohol-related crashes in 2014, accounting for 13% of all fatal crashes.
