A LaGrange County woman has been arrested — accused of lying to Syracuse police that she was raped by her ex-husband. It was back in mid-September when investigators say 32 year old Deybrean Lynn Gangwer of Topeka went to the Syracuse Police Department and filed a complaint, telling officers that on September 8th, she was sleeping at her grandparents’ house when her ex-husband woke her up and forced himself on her. Police then spoke with Gangwer again on Sept. 28, when she said that she had made up the story because her current husband told her to. She was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail with a 52-hundred dollar bond. The case remains under investigation.
