Two people are being treated for injuries in a shooting in LaPorte County. The gunfire happened Monday night in the 5000 block of North Pawnee Trail. Police arrived on scene, but couldn't find the victims. They did, however, find evidence suggesting a shooting did take place. A while later, the victims arrived at two separate hospitals for treatment. One received a hand wound. The other was transferred to the trauma center at Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
