School officials will break ground on Warsaw’s new Lincoln Elementary School Thursday afternoon. The new building will be built on the same property as the existing school building, a block north of Center Street. The current school was built in 1959, and the building itself has been suffering from rusting pipes, a leaking roof and a lack of space. Warsaw patrons voted in favor of a $39.9 million school improvement project referendum last November which includes the building of the brand new Lincoln Elementary.
