There have been some rumors going around that Northeast Indiana may snow this weekend, but the National Weather Service said it won’t be much.
According to Meteorologist Mark Steinwedel of the Northern Indiana National Weather Service in Syracuse, if any snow falls on Friday or Saturday, it will be very light and will mix with some drizzles.
“The better chance for snow comes on Sunday,” Steinwedel said. “As a weak system is moving through and it could create some light accumulation at best. So probably less than an inch and it would be mainly on grassy surfaces.”
It looks like Northeast Indiana will have to wait a little longer for some winter weather.
