Live Well Kosciusko & the K21 Health Foundation are teaming up to keep fair-goers safe from the sun.
As soon as you enter the Kosciusko County Community Fair you’ll see their booth– and their giveaways. They are handing out free UV wristbands that change color in the sunlight.
The wristbands serve as a reminder to wear sunscreen and spend time in the shade.
The organizations also encourage fair attendees to use sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30, and to reapply it every two hours.
